The centre provides maths and English programmes for students of all ages and abilities and is run by experienced Kumon Instructor, Odette Wild.

Most students come from the surrounding areas and ages of students currently at the centre vary between four to 15 years old. They range in ability from those dealing with learning difficulties to the most able students and are supported by a team of assistants in a relaxed atmosphere. Class visits normally last approximately 30-45 minutes per subject.

The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.

Kumon should not be considered a traditional tuition provider as, rather than ‘teaching’ students, we encourage them to become independent learners who feel confident in their own abilities and able to face unfamiliar work.

Hello, my name is Odette Wild and in April 2012 I became the Instructor at the Bramhall Study Centre.

My main goal is to develop in every student the love and passion for learning and the skills of independent self-learning to enable them to achieve their maximum potential.

I have an excellent team of assistants who share my passion for each student's progress. They are regularly trained so as to enable them to do their best for the children. They work closely with the students and join me in observing and assessing every child, every time they come to class. Together, we provide relevant feedback to parents.

I work closely with the families, as well as my students. I constantly communicate to parents the progress and goals of their children and provide support as and when necessary. I regularly organise progress meetings with parents to discuss their child's development, their goals, the importance of praise, allowing us to come up with the best solution for every concern they have with regards to their children's work.

I'd be more than happy to discuss Kumon and its benefits with you in detail if you would like more information.
