Welcome to the Solihull Elmdon study centre.

At Kumon, our aim is for each and every child to become an independent, advanced learner, with a positive attitude to study.
I have a receptionist and class assistants who support the development of the student’s study skills. The early learners have dedicated class assistants specifically trained to work with them as they learn to read, count and write.

As a Kumon student, your child will develop invaluable study skills and build in confidence as they become an independent learner. Through daily study of the unique Kumon worksheets, your child will strive towards studying above the international standard for their age, enabling them to realise their potential both at school and beyond. In addition to studying an appropriate amount of work at home on a daily basis, your child will also attend the study centre twice a week.

The centre is located in Lode Heath School where the classroom can be accessed directly from the car park, making it accessible for parents and children.

I started running the Solihull Elmdon centre two years ago with one student - she is still studying maths with me today and watching her learn and progress has been a great joy.

Children are all unique and being able to watch them grow and progress every class is the best feeling in the world. I love the fact that Kumon not only helps children excel in maths and English but gives them confidence and develops good study skills.

I have had the pleasure of reading so many school reports where students from my centre have not only been praised at school for excellent maths and English work but also for their "can do" attitude. One of the best aspects of the Kumon programmes for me is that the learning fits the student - they work at a pace that is just right for them and no one is ever left behind in their studies.
