About this centre

The centre was established in early 2014, right at the heart of the Welling and East Wickham community.

Classes at the Welling Study Centre are overseen by Instructor Ursula, who is supported by her committed team of assistants. One-to-one support is provided for early learners and newly enrolled students.

The Kumon Maths and English Study Programmes offer what traditional tuition gives to your child and more. Kumon goes one step further by helping each child develop self-learning skills, enabling them to tackle challenging work without reliance on a teacher. Our aim is to help any child of any ability to progress and develop a curiosity and love for learning.

Your local Instructor will set work for your child at just the right level, enabling them to build confidence in their abilities and progress their maths and English skills in small, manageable steps through daily study. They will visit their local study centre twice a week for sessions with their Instructor. This allows the Instructor to tailor and adapt each child’s study plan to their abilities, through observing their progress and fluency at each level. Our study programmes are individualised to each child to help them establish strong learning foundations and a positive learning experience, to build skills and confidence for their future.

Hello, my name is Ursula and I am the Instructor at the Welling Study Centre. I am passionate about giving our children the opportunity to learn and flourish and I love being involved in doing so. As a Kumon parent, I very much understand that every parent wants the best for their child and I would be very happy if I can be of help and support to you and your family on your Kumon journey.

As a proud mother of twin girls, I became quickly involved in their schoolwork and also their school. Seeing first-hand what impact Kumon has had on my own children in terms of academic achievement, self-confidence, study discipline and perseverance, as well as self-learning and motivation was worthwhile. I can highly recommend the Kumon programmes and can support, nurture and empower your child to develop the same qualities.

Seeing the development and improvement of your child will be most rewarding for me as a Kumon Instructor.

My team and I will be delighted to welcome you and your family to the Kumon Welling Study Centre.
