Kumon Deutschland GmbH, currently looking for an accountant to join our team.
Kumon is a supplementary education provider, specialising in Maths and English programmes tailored to ensure that each child is working at just the right level. Founded in Japan in 1958, the Kumon Method encourages self-led learning that promotes independence and increases ability, all with the guidance of Instructors.
The role involves:
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full time, perm role.

The role involves:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
- Preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with the German. Commercial Code (HGB).
- Responsible for the cash flow management of the group of companies.
- First point of contact for balance sheet and financial accounting.
- Responsible for budget monitoring and carry out regular target/actual comparisons.
- The contact person for commercial project management when carrying out inventories.
- Be able to speak fluent in German - Essential.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English - ssential.
- Experience in balance sheet/ financial accounting.
- Experience in Cash flow management.
- Budget monitoring and the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Experience in inventory auditing.
- Experience in preparing monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB.
- Be able to support the preparation of monthly financial statements.
