We are currently looking for an Office Coordinator to manage the reception desk and support the centre Instructor in all aspects of delivering the Kumon Maths and English Programmes at the Kumon Ealing Dickens Yard Study Centre.
 
Kumon develops every child’s potential, offering maths and English study programmes to more than four million students worldwide. We currently have over 650 franchised study centres across the UK and Ireland.
 
Key responsibilities of this role will include:

Providing a professional reception service for the centre when required:
welcoming parents, managing enquiries,
taking messages
Communicating with Kumon families regarding issues such as absences, discontinuance and payments 
Maintaining the study centre’s banking and payment systems including collection of monthly fees
Liaising with and maintaining positive working relationships with parents
Carrying out general administration duties as and when requested by the line manager
Key skills and experience required for this role are:

Essential:
Proven track record in administrative roles
Expertise with the full range of Microsoft Office packages including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent telephone manner
Team player, but ability to work on own initiative
Ability to work on multiple tasks
Good communication skills both orally and written
Ability to prioritise and manage own workload amid conflicting demands and busy work periods

Willing to travel to other UK offices as and when required (with possible overnight stay)
Qualifications (Please list the essential qualifications a candidate requires)
Essential: Good level of education in maths and English
Desirable: Grade B in maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)

The interview process will consist of:
Initial phone interview with the hiring manager
If successful you will be invited to attend an orientation meeting/assessment day, in a centre around the country, all expenses paid. The assessment day will be based on tests and presentations
The final stage will be a face-to-face interview
