The Kumon Uxbridge East Study Centre has been established for over 21 years and provides a positive working environment to support children studying Kumon's Maths and English Study Programmes. Our aim is to develop confident, independent young learners, who have the skills and ability to thrive at school and beyond.
New students and early learners are, initially, closely monitored by the assistants and the Instructor in a dedicated area. Once they have developed effective study skills, they will begin to work independently, though still under our guidance. The objective is to further develop their confidence and encourage self-learning, so they can go on to reach their full potential.
Students complete daily worksheet study developing ability and fluency gradually over time, progressing in small steps and building confidence. Students attend on a drop-in basis and are not limited to a rigid time. Your child’s Kumon Instructor will set work at just the right level to challenge and keep them engaged, regardless of age or school year. This means that they can strengthen their key skills or progress beyond school grade level without restriction.
