Our aim is to bring out the best in every child, regardless of age or ability, and help them to reach their potential and to become an independent learner with a confident attitude and a love of learning.
The programmes are individualised to each student’s needs; we have students who find maths or English difficult, those who need to develop good work skills, to students who need to be challenged further. Following a free assessment, your local instructor will determine at what point in the programme your child will start their Kumon journey.
Through daily study of the unique Kumon worksheets, your child will strive towards studying above the international standard for their age, enabling them to realise their potential both at school and beyond. In addition to studying an appropriate amount of work at home on a daily basis, your child will also attend class up to twice a week, either online or in the study centre. Students are given time slots for their study during class to ensure they get the support they need from the Kumon Instructor. It is the role of the Kumon Instructor to provide guidance, support and encouragement, allowing the student to build both self-confidence and crucial skills in small, manageable steps.
Unlike the process of a traditional tuition provider, Kumon facilitates students to take their learning into their own hands, developing transferrable skills that will help them achieve at school, university, employment and in all other aspects of adult life.
